The method involves precleaning an endoscope by a user and subsequently recleaning the endoscope using a cleaning device in such a manner that the endoscope is germ-free. The recleaned endoscope is reused. The endoscope is repacked under pressure after recleaning process and is stored in repacked condition under pressure until new application. The endoscope is transported back to a usage site after storing the endoscope in repacked condition under pressure. A time interval between recleaning and new application of the endoscope is monitored. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement with an endoscope that is recleaned and is repacked under pressure in a bag.
