The mirror has two transparent plates (2, 4) between which mercury (3) is embedded. Air is sucked out from a sealed container when the plates are placed on the container until the plates are bent under atmospheric pressure. The plates are made of Plexiglass(RTM: light transparent weather resistant thermoplastic). The plates are sealed at edges using a sealing (8). A diameter of the mirror is equal to or more than 5 meters. The mirror is placed on a ring (5), where the plates are attached below the ring.
