The arrangement (10) has a conveyer system e.g. electrically operable coolant pump (14), for subjecting a heat exchanger with a coolant. An evaluation mechanism (16) determines driving condition e.g. dynamic driving style and thrust operating condition, of a motor vehicle, where power of the conveyer system is adjusted depending on the driving condition determined by the evaluation mechanism. The evaluation mechanism evaluates longitudinal acceleration and/or transverse acceleration of the vehicle, and/or movement of an accelerator pedal and/or a brake pedal of the vehicle. The heat exchanger is a plate-type heat exchanger. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a transmission of a vehicle.
