The tappet has an external housing provided with a circular ring-shaped base with a hollow cylindrical radial outside section (1) and a hollow cylindrical radial internal section (2). An inner housing is arranged in the internal section. A pressurized medium chamber (3) is formed in a gap between the external housing and a cover element. A leakage connection is formed in the gap between the external housing and the cover element for production of a defined pressurized medium leakage stream between the medium chamber and another pressurized medium chamber (4).
