One of the intensive washers dispenses precleaned wood gas (h1) that is supplied to a gas cooler (26). The gas cooler is provided for condensing water, and provides precleaned non-condensed wood gas (h1') that is supplied to one of the filter units. The other intensive washer dispenses clean wood gas (h2), and the dirt arresters are formed as centrifuges.
