The refrigerator and/or freezer has a refrigerant circuit provided with a compressor (1), a condenser (2), a capillary tube (5) and an evaporator (4). The capillary tube exhibits regions (6, 7) with inner diameters (d1, d2), where the inner diameter of one of the regions is less than the inner diameter of the other region. The latter region is arranged after the former region and ends in an injecting place in the evaporator. The former region is arranged in connection with the condenser or a dryer (3) in the circuit. The tube has two capillary tube sections with uniform inner diameters. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a refrigerator and/or freezer.
