The device has a stick (1) with three coils (3) that are arranged one above other. The coils are exchangeably fastened with a coil holder (10a) having a yarn carrier (11) in retainers. A set of web longitudinal threads (6) runs from the coil holder in thread guides (18) arranged at arms (12). Thread tension force of the longitudinal threads with attached mass pieces (16) is adjustable by a weaving operation by a user. The mass pieces are arranged in sections of thread buffering (P) and/or between the thread guides and the coil holder.
