The arrangement (18) has a wind deflector element (24) extending in a vehicle transverse direction, and an extension arm (26) extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction. The arm is coupled with the element and a vehicle roof at respective axial ends (28a, 28b), such that the arm is pivotable relative to the roof. The arm is firmly coupled with a guiding element (32) i.e. rod, that extends in the longitudinal direction. The guiding element is designed, such that a displacement rate of the deflector element is defined by co-operation of the guiding element with a sliding roof cover (16).
