The mounting element is provided with a drill shaft (1) which has a power head (2) at one end and a drill head (6) at another end. The drill shaft carries a clamping sleeve between the power head and the drill head. The drill head is provided with a small continuous diametric widening (5) in the direction of the leading end of the drill head on its side facing the clamping sleeve. The diametric widening expands the clamping sleeve during the effect of a withdrawal-force on the drill shaft.
