Signals validation method for controlling rectifier elements of synchronous rectifier in three-phase generator of motor vehicle, involves validating control signal due to comparison of time period with respective comparison time period
The method involves determining a time period between a zero crossover (to) of a phase voltage (301) and a subsequent switching time point (t1) of an electric rectifier element, and comparing the determined period with a defined comparison time period. Another time period between a break time point (t2) of the rectifier element and a subsequent zero crossover (t3) of the phase voltage is determined and compared with another defined comparison time period. A control signal is validated by the comparison of the time periods with the respective defined comparison time periods. An independent claim is also included for a device for implementing of a method for validating signals for controlling rectifier elements of a synchronous rectifier.
