The magnetic valve (100) comprises an armature (25) which is actuated by a magnetic coil (42), where the armature is provided as a closing unit (23) which controls an aperture (16) for a fluid. A damping device has a damping area (36) which is formed by a recess (30), where a damping chamber is arranged between a guide element (12) and the armature. The damping chamber is connected with a low pressure area (8) by a connection (34). An independent claim is also included for a fuel injector, particularly common rail injector for injecting fuel in a combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine.
