The crankshaft (10) comprises a shaft extension (11) for mounting the crankshaft in a crankcase. A counterweight (13) is mounted on respective jack lift (12), where each jack lift has a flexible resilient spring element (14). The counterweight is assigned an oil damping element, where non-hermetic sealing elements serves as an oil damping chamber (16).
