The adjustable armrest (1) has an adjusting device (2) which has frames (3,4), where a guiding device is provided, by which the latter frame is arranged at the former frame in a movable manner. An interlocking device is provided, by which the frames are jammed in a force-fit manner. The guiding device is formed by a roller guide that has two rollers. The interlocking device has a clamp plate that is coupled by the guiding device, where the clamp plate is fixed by a clamping unit.
