The exchanger (1) has fluid-guiding components (2) provided with collecting boxes (4, 5) and fluid pipes (3). The fluid pipes and the collecting boxes are spatially connected with one another in exchange areas (15) using a heat guiding device (9) such that fluid flows through the fluid pipes from one of the collecting boxes to the other collecting box. The heat guiding device outwardly locks the exchange areas in a coolant-tight manner, where the heat guiding device comprises a sealant (16). The heat guiding device and/or the sealant and the components are made of an open-porous aluminum foam.
