The device (1) has a housing (2) with a recess (3) for retaining a spindle of a machine part, and a circular cavity (5) arranged coaxial to an axis of rotation (4) defined by the housing. A set of balancing parts (6) is movably arranged in the cavity for balancing unbalance of the machine parts by receiving a sealing run. A cage (7) is arranged as a separate part inside the cavity for guiding the balancing parts in the cavity, where the cage is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic e.g. polyamide 6.6 with 25 percent of glass fiber, or alloy with metal i.e. copper. An independent claim is also included for a machine comprising a spindle coupled with a drive.
