The rack has two support elements i.e. swing support elements (32), arranged in rear region of the rack with respect to later attachment of the rack in cooking device, and defining a pivot axis. A locking element (36) is arranged at upper end of front region of the rack, and is detachable from a locking bolt by a horizontal movement component. The swing support elements comprise slot holes (34), and the locking element comprises an insertion section (38) for the locking bolt. The section extends perpendicular to a plane defined by the rack. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cooking device comprising a cooking chamber (2) a method for pivoting a plating rack in a cooking device from a locking operating position in to cleaning position.
