The set has two front end modules retaining a main body structure (34) and transversely and longitudinally integrated internal-combustion engines (12) of a motor vehicle with front and all-wheel drives, respectively. One of the front end modules (32) is connected with the main body structure. The front end modules include identical frame structures, where an adapter element (36) is integrated for connecting the internal-combustion engines with the frame structures depending on drive variants. The internal-combustion engines are integrated into the front end modules. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a motor vehicle.
