The device has tearing elements (3) located adjacent to each other on a drum (2) that is rotated to drive a power source i.e. electrical or hydraulic motor. The drum is arranged on a frame (1), and holding elements (4) are fixedly arranged on a side of the drum. The holding elements and the drum are arranged to each other in such a manner to form a funnel shaped inlet- and tearing region in a drum region. The power source is controlled by a control device such that the drum is driven into an opposite rotation direction, after pre-assinged alternated revolutions.
