The tread cushion (1) has an elastic brace element formed from a single piece. Two arms (21,22) are formed with similar width, length, and thickness, and are distanced apart from each other. A connection point is formed, the thickness of which is such that the elastic brace element forms a hollow section with an open and a closed face.
