The device (10) has an x-ray radiation source (3) arranged below a transporting conveyor (1), and a time delay and integration (TDI) camera (4) arranged above the conveyor, where the TDI camera is fastened at different positions in a vertical direction within a preset area of the device. A data processing device (5) is connected with the TDI camera and calculates a value of a raster frequency during operation, where the frequency is used by the TDI camera, and the processing device transmits the frequency value to the TDI camera. An independent claim is also included for a method for analyzing products.
