The device forms a perpendicular post (1) at a pallet neck, where the post is overlapped with the bottom of the device. A holding profile (2) is attached at a lower post end and is attached at a bottom edge. The holding profile comprises a U-shaped cross-section for covering the bottom edge. The holding profile is detachably attached at the bottom. The holding device is made of metal e.g. steel or aluminum.
