The clamping device has a stationary machine element (1) at which a support body (2) formed as an adjustment eccentric is fixed by an eccentric longitudinal bore and a fastening unit (3). A roller bearing (4) is provided which is supported indirectly on the support body and carries a clamping roller (5). A retaining plate (8) is rotatably connected with the support body. The retaining plate is fixed on the machine element or at a component in clamping rotational direction around the longitudinal bore by a fixing system.
