A method for manufacturing a honed bore segment bore (5 – 8) in workpieces (1 – 4), each of which a segment bore (5 – 8), are the workpieces (1 – 4) arranged relative to one another so that the segment bores (5 – 8) of the workpieces (1 – 4) on a common longitudinal axis (9) are aligned and in a projection along the common longitudinal axis (9) a closed circuit (12) is formed. In this case, a plurality of workpieces (1 – 4) are machined simultaneously, as a result of which the cycle time is reduced.
