The graphite-containing plate (5) comprises a solidified mixture of largely uniformly distributed graphite particles (6) and plastic particles (7), where the graphite particles and plastic particles are distributed homogeneously into the mixture. A component (9) is embedded in the plate. The graphite particle contains expanded graphite. The mixture contains 15-60 wt% of graphite particles and 20-50 wt.% of plastic particles. The plastic particles contain thermoplastics and/or thermosetting plastics. The plastic is malleable. The plate is formed in a predetermined contour.
