The device has a U-tube (1) for retaining oil (4) that contains enzyme enniatin B, where water (5) with potassium portions is received in legs (3) of the U-tube. A wire is wrapped around the U-tube in the region of a base (2) for forming a coil (6), where the U-tube is made of glass. The enzyme enniatin B transports potassium ions in the water through the oil such that magnetic field is produced in the coil by the transportation of the potassium ions. Electricity induced by the magnetic field is obtained using the coil.
