The arrangement has a set of low temperature or high temperature fuel cells for storing electrical energy generated by a generator in addition to the electrical energy stored in a battery and an accumulator, where power supplied during starting of the electric vehicle by the fuel cells is larger than that supplied during continuous operation of the electric vehicle. The fuel cells have an integrated super capacitor function. An independent claim is also included for a method for increasing a working cycle of an electric vehicle.
