The mechanism (1) has a detecting unit detecting movement condition of the mechanism. A vibrational excitation unit is provided for initiating vibrational excitation in the mechanism when the detecting unit is closed at a movement standstill state of the mechanism, where frequency of the vibrational excitation lies above lowest natural frequency of the mechanism. The vibrational excitation unit includes a vibration exciter that is coupled to the mechanism. An operating unit (10) is provided for switching ON and OFF the vibrational excitation.
