The method for producing tar-free synthesis gas (9) and carbon from biomass (1), comprises partially removing the carbon after incomplete gasification, and subjecting the tar-containing pyrolysis gas to a thermal catalytic purification. The process is carried out before the thermal catalytic purification of water vapor, where the purification is carried out by heating the synthesis gas, a catalytic process, and a catalytic process at elevated temperature. The carbon is removed in the form of biomass cokes and is partially removed in the form of carbon black. The method for producing tar-free synthesis gas (9) and carbon from biomass (1), comprises partially removing the carbon after incomplete gasification, and subjecting the tar-containing pyrolysis gas to a thermal catalytic purification. The process is carried out before the thermal catalytic purification of water vapor, where the purification is carried out by heating the synthesis gas, a catalytic process, and a catalytic process at elevated temperature.
