The device has a membrane area (8) reinforced by a reinforcement structure (10) comprising a set of struts (12, 14). A tool mold represents the course of the reinforcement structure, and a set of cores supports textile semi-finished parts for forming the struts. The cores comprise an inclined surface for defining a funnel or wedge-shaped intermediate area that is opened between the adjacent cores. A retaining element for position-securing of the cores is inserted into the intermediate area, where the retaining element is designed as a projection of the tool mold. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a shell-like component.
