The radiator (1) has a thermoelectric generator (2) formed from micro-structured thermoelectric modules (6) that are electrically coupled in series and/or parallel and arranged between a cooling lamella (5) and a coolant fin (4) such that a side (7) of each micro-structured thermoelectric module to be cooled is arranged and thermally coupled to the cooling lamella. Another side (8) of each micro-structured thermoelectric module to be supplied with thermal energy is arranged and thermally coupled to the coolant fin, where coolant is passed through the coolant fin. The micro-structured thermoelectric modules are manufactured in foil technology.
