The occluder (10) has a cylinder-shaped sealing element (11) arranged at an inner wall of body vessels in an expanded condition, where the occluder is manufactured from a tube-shaped body through insertion of walls openings (17) in an area of the sealing element. The openings extend parallel to a longitudinal axis of the occluder, where the occluder is made from shape memory polymer. Fluid-tight sealing units (13-15) are arranged in the sealing element and made from textile material or plastic e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene, PTFE or expanded PTFE.
