The undercarriage (2) has a central tunnel (4) running in a vehicle longitudinal direction. A bulkhead-cross bar (5) exhibits a downwardly opened cross section (8) in the area of the central tunnel. The downwardly opened cross section of the bulkhead-cross bar is closed by a reinforcement bar (10). The reinforcement bar is arranged transverse to the vehicle longitudinal direction. The reinforcement bar is repeatedly, destruction-freely and separably fastened to the bulkhead-cross bar. The reinforcement bar exhibits a through-hole at ends for holding fastening elements (11, 12) i.e. screws.
