The needles are guided into cage slots (4) in a circumferential direction, where the slots are embedded transverse to a cage profile in a needle cage (2). The needle cage has a reduced number of cage slots with respect to standard execution and an increased number of bearing needles when the cage slots are formed as uniformly distributed twin slots, where the bearing needles are arranged next to each other in each cage slot.
