The lawn edge cutter has a frame with impellers, a cutter in vertical cutting plane and a motor for a drive of the cutter, where the cutting plane is extended along a lawn edge. A blunt cutter performs a small horizontal stroke with high frequency. The position of the cutter is guided by the impellers on the frame for lawn upper surface for the purpose of adherence of a defined penetration depth in the lawn.
