The deflection arrangement comprises a seat belt retractor (10), and a mounting unit, which is inserted into a mounting hole (11) of the seat belt retractor. The seat belt retractor is fastened at a carrier (9). The mounting unit is split pin (1), which is formed along its longitudinal direction. The pin has a longest height during maximum covering of the pin portions (2a,2b). An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a deflection arrangement.
