The device has a displaceable washing lance (5) guided into an in-built housing (9). The housing is closed such that the lance is moved to and fro between a pulled rest position and a cleaning position. A sealing plug (4) is arranged at a container-sided end of the housing such that the plug opens a product chamber (1) during pulling of the lance. The plug and the lance are guided over a common drive (10) such that the plug is opened during pulling of the lance and closed during retraction.
