The method for producing and increasing strength of a composite component, which is formed from a cast component made of an aluminum alloy and an another cast component made of aluminum alloy, comprises connecting the cast component over a bolted connection in which the cast component is annealed below a melting point of the metallic material and subsequently quenched in water. A thread is formed on the cast component from the aluminum alloy after quenching, and the bolted connection connecting to the cast components is produced under use of the thread. The method for producing and increasing strength of a composite component, which is formed from a cast component made of an aluminum alloy and an another cast component made of aluminum alloy, comprises connecting the cast component over a bolted connection in which the cast component is annealed below a melting point of the metallic material and subsequently quenched in water. A thread is formed on the cast component from the aluminum alloy after quenching, and the bolted connection connecting to the cast components is produced under use of the thread. The cast component is stabilized at stabilizing temperature. The annealing temperature for annealing is 100-150[deg] C below the melting point temperature. The stabilization temperature is 20-30% above the operating temperature. The composite component is a cylinder crankcase.
