The method involves arranging a cooling medium blocking device (6bv) between a main motor-coolant pump (7) and a water jacket of motor cylindrical blocks (1B) and motor cylindrical heads (1k). The blocking device is connected with an axial valve slider using the coolant pump. Motor coolant flow rate of the coolant pump is temporarily set closer to null by a motor controller while cooling an internal combustion engine with low load, where the cooling effect of the engine is raised by partially or fully opened blocking device and additional valves (6ev) while increasing cooling demand of the engine.
