The method involves measuring quality of spectacle lens slugs supplied by a slug manufacturer, and introducing best 5 percent of the slugs into a spectacle lens manufacturing process. The slugs are subjected to a machine cutting process for producing a surface structure desired for spectacle lenses, where tools utilized for the cutting process is removed after processing of 350 slugs. The machine cutting processed spectacle lenses are polished using polishing agent i.e. aluminum oxide suspension, where the agent is removed after polishing 100 spectacle lenses.
