The arrangement has a retaining ring (6) in which a magnetic ring (11) is accommodated, where the retaining ring is connected with a gear component (8). The retaining ring is fastened to a radially protruding flap (5b) of the component in a friction- and/or form-fit manner using connectors (10) i.e. hollow rivets. A base ring (12) is attached at the retaining ring, where the magnetic ring is supportable at the base ring. The retaining ring forms an annular cage (12a) together with the base ring, and the magnetic ring is glued with the cage.
