The method involves feeding gas into a hollow body (10), where the gas is emerged through an exit hole (20) of the hollow body. Temperature change in a hollow body surface area (30) i.e. region of the exit hole, is measured based on emergence of the gas. The exit hole is closed when the measured temperature change in the hollow body surface area meets predetermined criterion. The temperature change is measured and evaluated as a function of time. Data about gas flow behavior of the hollow body is stored in a memory device. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for measuring gas flow behavior of a hollow body.
