The transformer module has a cabinet (10) that is provided with terminal groups (20,30,40) having gas insulated nominal guards (15). The nominal guard apertures of the terminal groups are diagonally arranged with respect to each other. A group of current transformers (60) is provided in a single phase region of the cabinet and a common gas space for receiving isolation gas of the guards.
