The cage half (1) has a ring-shaped body (2), at which pockets sections (3,4) are formed in circumferential direction. A bar (5) is arranged between the pocket sections that are adjacent in circumferential direction. A clamping element (6) has clamping straps (7,8) that are flexible to each other in an elastic manner and are distant perpendicular to an adjacent surface of the bar. The clamping straps are opposite to each other. Each clamping straps has edge sections (11,12). An independent claim is also included for a roller bearing cage with a rotational axis.
