The system has a pivotable base effecting slipping of split logs (4) and/or timber hogged woods or timber pellets to fork tines (5). The base effects entrapment of timber hogged woods or timber pellets to the delivering worm during pivoting of the base upwards, where the system is designed for a split log length of 25, 33, 50 or 100 cms and the split logs are stored and are automatically taken from a hopper and/or reservoir. Conveyors effect tilting and falling of the logs closely together by varying the speed of the conveyors. An independent claim is also included for a split log tank comprising a hopper and/or reservoir.
