The hydraulic valve train has housing (3) and pistons (4,5), where the housing forms a cylinder. The pistons are guided in the cylinder in an axially consecutive stroke moving manner. An outer front side (22) of the latter piston and an inflow channel (21) are impinged by the pressure medium source. The inflow channel is discharged in a pressure chamber (12). The inflow channel penetrates the housing in a radial manner. The outer front side of the latter piston faces the former piston.
