The unit (1) has a housing element including a lens (4) and a frame (8), where the lens encloses bottom of housing so as to form a tray (7). The frame is held by fastening units i.e. laces. The bottom of housing is contained by the lens. A LED-carrier (6) i.e. printed circuit board, is formed as a flat panel, arranged on the tray and locked by a sealing compound (20). The lens includes a concave curved inner surface (5), and the LED-carrier is formed in the lens in an uninterruptible manner. A LED element (11) is arranged in an inner chamber (12).
