The device has an electrically operated cleaning robot (1) which is axially along X-axis by a guide rail (10) that is arranged in the area of the surface. Another guide rail (11) is provided orthogonal to the former guide rail and is arranged at the formed guide rail by a movable connection. The electrically operated cleaning robot is guided along the latter guide rail in the direction of Y-axis.
