The node (1) has an upper cast node part (2) and a lower cast node part (3) made of light metal i.e. aluminum, where a structure part of a car body is attached at the node parts. A longitudinal beam (4) is strengthened with a strengthening element (5) made from high-strength steel material i.e. warm-transformed steel material, and the strengthening element is connected with the cast node parts. A cross beam (7) made from the steel material is attached at the cast node parts, where the beam runs crosswise relative to a longitudinal beam path.
