The device has an anvil-like element designed as a metal rod (11) that is insertable into tube bends (9). The metal rod comprises recesses that circulate at a distance from the tube bends, where the tube bends are partly engaged with the recesses. Flanges are welded with the tube bends. The metal rod is adapted from bending radius of the flanges. A spacer is provided between the tube bends at a distance to the flanges. The metal rod is provided with end caps (15) at ends, where one of the end caps is designed as a clamping element.
