The device has a set of detectors (LZ1, LZ2, LZ3) for acquisition of a state of a support construction, where the detectors are provided with radio units (SE1, SE2, SE3) for transmitting status data e.g. load, identification or location data, from the support construction. The detectors are provided with respective sensors (DMS1, DMS2, DMS3) i.e. strain gauges, connectable to the support structure for generating an electrical measurement signal indicating a load or movement state of the support construction. The radio units are connected with respective signal evaluation units (SA1, SA2, SA3). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for counting laying operations in a support construction (2) a method for acquisition of load cycles of a support construction (3) a method for counting laying operations in a support construction (4) a method for controlling laying operations in a support construction (5) a method for monitoring a clutch mechanism between bridge modules of a non-stationary bridge.
